i just returned from camp this afternoon, about one plus. this whole camp was fun and rather nice..as in not THAT tuff..compared to 2005 the acc, it's considered not bad. when we all parted, i suddenly feel that i will miss them all..all the fun and stuffs, but at the same time, i wanted so much to return home, to be sleeping comfortably on my bed and to be able to eat properly. parting is such sweet sorrow(:
ok..so let me tell you about my camping experience(:
day 1: we had to go to school on friday before the camp, but the school released a bit earlier on friday, so i could go home and bathe. i was a bit late in falling in, but because we are already nco, they didnt scold us. then we made our way to the jetty. reached pulau ubin about 15-30mins later and we hiked in to the camp as a whole area 11. it's such a long way with a lot of mud road and uneven treks. by the time i reach there, i was so exhausted. then we the sec 3 used the noordine campsite again. had some briefing when we arrived, and we had to do the row calling thingy so that we can have our grouping at first i was in group 3, but then xueli was afraid that after pamela go for the ndp, then she would left alone, so she exchanged with me..and i became a member of group 2. after that we had our tent groups. i'm in tent 3, with xueli..so coincidental. first time i managed to be in the same group as a chung chenger(: ok..then we proceeded to pitch our tents. after pitching our tent, i think we had our dinner. after our dinner, we were told that we had to do camp fire performance. we had to combine with grp 1 cuz grp 2 and 1 is together de. and so we had games, some games to help us remember each other's names. after that, we had the discussion. after the discussion, we were made to sit in the hall, and one weird man asked us to go and remember all the rules for this camp. i can vividly remember mine: no buying of food from the villages or markets without the permission of the OIC. hahaas..after this we had grp debrief, and we discussed about some incident which happened during the day. soon it was lights out, but our grp was the first to do sentuary duty, so we waited there. then the mdms and the sirs brought us on our route once. then we were deployed. after about 15mins, we returned to the foyer, but then, i found out that my tents was infested with ants. one by one, the girls found out their tents were infested with ants also, so we all moved into the foyer to sleep. hahas..i went to bathe after all these incident. i couldnt realy sleep at first, then slowly i managed to sleep..
day2: i was so tired the next day..and think about the many things that was going to happen that day..i suddenly feel like flying home. we had pt early in the morning..and the pti was so..i dont know how to describe..because he wanted us to shout out loud..if not..we'll have to redo. and we ran..but the speed wasnt fast. i was glad i didnt fall out(: then we had our breakfast..and i didnt feel like eating anything..so i only ate biscuits. at first i wanted to drink milo..but then..no time, so i didnt drink it after all. the first activity that day for grp 1,2,3 and 4 is the high elements. i didnt want to do it..because i'm scared..but then..i decided to overcome my fears, so i didnt it. me and estelle and gn and gn's friend did the dark tunnel first..the tunnel was so dark, but we worked well together..but the mdm keep wanting us to take different colour balls out..she thought that we were lying to her..so..hahas..but we were great bcuz we managed to finish the challenge very vv quickly. after we finished this, we went for the high elements. i think i did the easiest one..but it was really scary. i wanted to give up..but then, it's a point of no return, so i cheered myself on by saying,"you can do it!" and i managed to finish it. but then..must thank all the people downstairs who cheer me on..and supported me with the ladders. hahas..thank you! after the high elements, ewe had our lunch and changed for kayaking. when lunch ended, it began to rain and we had to take out our ponchos, but mine is taken by some people, so i borrowed from mdm..and we almost wanted to walk to the kayaking place when it rained again. but the rained became smaller and we walked there. by the time we reched there, we were one hour late. the instructor taught us some basic things about kayaking and the parts of the kayaks. then we had to pair ourselves up. we then wore the life vast and did some simple paddling steps. next we proceeded onto the beach to carry the kayaks. we were taught how to capsize and how to embark and disembark the kayak. after this, we were all set and ready. vincent and me got up the kayak and we began to follow the rest. it's like so tiring..i think i didnt practicse for a long time..that's why i'm like so weak. we built a few rafts and disratch a few times and went back to keep the kayaks. i've got blisters and abbrassion on my feet, so i rested while they wash their kayaks..i'm like so weak. i couldnt dont admit that i am weak after this seesion. after this we were suppose to have our dinner and bathe, but me and gn went to the sick bay to apply some medication because of our sored feets. and i threw my shoes away becuz it's giving me so much pain! i managed to bathe again..and had a bit of food before leaving for campfire. our grp was the first to perform. it was great, but i was a bit paiseh, so i didnt do much lar..the campfire was great and we all had fun! after this was debrief again. then i had to squeeze into my gps tent..but i think it's a bit squeezy for them, so i told the officers, but then the officers asked me to sleep with them. at first i could sleep, but then, i soon woke up. then xueli also couldnt sleep, so we sat behind the canteen and tried to sleep there. mr lee came along and saw us there, so he asked us to sleep in the foyer. it was so comfortable that i slept right through the next morning(:
day 3:the next morning we woke up and had our breakfast. we didnt have pt, which was yippe! hahaas..we had area cleaning and my group was incharge of cleaning the log room. however, after we cleaned our area, we helped the other grps. and guess what? i saw one of the ant's butt being stuck. hahas..the other ants were trying desperately to help it get it's butt out. so funny. the bad thing was, after the area cleaning, we had punishments. we did pumpings and crunches and jumping jacks because we werent fast in doing our things..after this was orienteering. we had to figure out the way of using that weird compass and our grp took like forever. by the time we figured it out, we only managed to finish one station. and we ran back. this was the last activity and we had to take our belonging and fall in into out diff schools. our school was the 2nd last to leave. when we were about to leave, it rained, so we had to wear our ponchos again..but i didnt really wear lar..we reached the jetty and were "transported" home. i was so happy we finally reached home..but then..i missed them..haiz..the fun and stuffs.. i want to go back for atc!!! and elite rox(:

ok..what a bad new. the first thing i did when i woke up was, on the handphone and look at the results. and i saw,"germany lost!!!" argh..my anxious feeling turned into agony right that instant. i guess this news was too hard on me..i was so hopeful adn even prayed for them to win..haiz..but hopes and dreams are meant to be broken..right?then when i reached school and the first thing bi ran told me was,"germany lost lehs.."i almost broke down. but i controlled. nevermind..then for the whole day me and si min was like hoping that france will win the champ, then it'll be italy and third will be germany. one placing doesnt make a difference right? hahass..then we talked about soccer all through the day..and so sad..they keep saying that germany is out..and germany is NOT out ok? they just got third..i mean they will be getting third(: then today got balmed for talking in class..let me tell about the whole incident. i was doing my work when i accidentally noticed some thing crawling on my piece of paper. it looked like one of the earser rubbing but i could move! so i told si min to look at it. we were all amused and began to show celeste and bi ran and yuqing. they too were amused and found it funny because we have never, never ever came across such things, so we decided to call ms chan to come and have a look. we didnt know that after looking at it, she screamed at us and left the class in anger. we were blamed by some group of people..i dont understand, is it our fault? haiyah..then it all spoilt our mood until chinese, when we all got to talk about soccer again. hahaas..so crazy aint we? and today is such a sucky day! haiz..got accused of talking during egeog lesson..and i told the teacher,"i wasnt talking. i'm too sad to be talking.." then guess what mrs ho said? "you shouldnt be support germany" oh my..i was like,"wat's wrong with them eh?" they are so nice lor. i love germany(:

it's only the first week of term 3, and we are having so many tests. three tests in a week! and those tests were so difficult..yesterday just had our literature and a maths tests. i heard that if we fail our literature, the teacher might consider kicking us out of that class..meaning we don't have to continue taking literature as a subject. I'm like so worried now..and a maths was another diseaster. and mind you, it's NOT a beautiful diseaster. I seriously think i have to improve my english. my grammar and stuffs..i'm not very sure. the usage of certain words..and i have to improve my chinese..because oral is approaching. arhh...i've got a lot to do!!! ok..yesterday was our first activity as NCOs. it was a rather tiring thing. after school once the bell rang, i was chased down to collect the attendence files. then it ran all the way to the staff room to find for mr kwek. and he gave me the attendence files. then i went back to bunk and distributed all the files to the different squad NCOs and proceeded to the toilet to change into my full u. then i brought the bags full of valuables to the staff room. i'm like so alone..asked celeste they all to help me..then they said that they didnt want to be the extra one, so she asked bi ran to help me. however, when we were reaching the grand audi, bi ran pang seh me. heng! i went up all alone, and when i reach the third floor, ms wan wasnt there! what a diseaster. then i ran everywhere in search of her..luckily i saw zhenglin and he helped me..then i found her and brought the things up to her staff room. next was photo taking. so glad i wasnt really the shortest(: i think the few of us stood on the table. after the photo taking we sat in our bunks and rested until about 4, we changed into our pt kit and went for the games. i was the game station IC of hands feet and butts together with shi cheah. then it was so funny looking at them playing it and actually enjoying it. after that was mass debrief and then debrief for us. it suddenly came to me that i am suppose to go and collect the valuables back for them. so i ran to the grand audi. again..it was me and me alone): but when i came back with the bags of things, it gave me a sense of satisfaction(x the debrief ended at around 7.30. throughout the whole thing, i was busily copying everything out..and when i reached home, the first thing i did was type it out! so efficient arent i? heheex..
there one good news for all! GERMANY WON ARGENTINA!!! i'm so happy! yesterday i sat infront of the tv, eyes fixed on it. for the first half, noboday scored. however, in the second half, argentina scored the first goal, then germany was so pressurised..then argentina's goalie was injured and was substitued by franco. after that germany scored! yippee!! at first i was so worried for them..kept praying that they win..then they draw..until the extended time came to an end, both teams were still 1-1. then there was this penalty kick thingy..germany kicked in their first goal, then agrentina also did. but for the second goal i think argentina didnt manage to score beacue the germany's goalie lehmann vv pro! then for the third goal, both teams also scored, but for the fourth one, argentina didnt manage to score..so germany won! woohooo~i hope germany win the champ(:
